Final Project Title
California Crop Circle Computer Chip Formation; 2013
The mysterious California Crop Circle was spotted as green lights had been seen the
night before by driver passing by. Witness of the farm gigantic crop circle Manuel Madrid, said
he believe in something; “it could be aliens.” The Crop Circle was in the shape of a Computer
Chip design square in shape in the center of a circle pattern. The Crop Circle Computer Chip
formation was intriguing and drew my interest because I like computer and was trying to figure
out what it’s used for. The design It seem precise to be UFO design because it depicted a useable
microchip.
“The field owner, Scott Anthony, had just returned from a vacation to his home when he
got a call from one of the employees on his 2,000-acre farm. “He said, ‘Hey, there’s a buncha
stuff out in the middle of the field.’ So when I went up there I go Ohhhh shoot!” Going though
the data of information the owner of the field took precautions and hire private security.
This is extraordinary in my mind that a pattern of a micro-chip is found in the small
California town. Looking at the Crop Circle formation, if it was an actual devise what would the
usage be. The graphics would just need a Circuit board to connect to. The examining of the
formation perhaps would take some connector cables to run its logic.
I have always been fascinated with computers and the new technology process of
development. In the field of organic growth of robotics chip designs, it seems so far-out there in
theory. But in science everything is microscopic sizes now a days can power rocket ships and
this gigantic field with the next generation microchip technology is a possible hoax.
Passer by have reported that vehicles was spotted along side the roads and CNN reported
that the field of barley formation was a surprise! A hoax by a computer company, NVIDIA
according to its president and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang. The intent was to draw publicity and
mobile media coverage.
The information that was discovered about the Computer Crop Circle formation was it
was a gimmick drawn up by NVIDIA corporation. It was to make a phenomenon presentation at
the Comdex Convention Center in Las Vegas addressing the hoax. Huang said that the microchip
is the next generation in mobile graphic chips and is going to renovate the computer world. He
said Its like it out of this World, it’s practically built by alien.” Huang said, referring to the new
Tegra K1 graphics Chip.
NVIDIA corporation created the 310 feet crop formation to bring out this elaborate
computer chip. The presentation was quite shocking, and they spent a lot of men hour but it
shows that the prankster are still out there creating the unknown so be objective in belief.

Class
Discussion. Modality
The Healing
Touch therapy is one of my interests, I think is in the field technique that
shows results. Used mostly by nurses, R.N. Janet Mentgen tries to restore the body’s
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance in the bioenergy modality
technique. There are four levels of Therapeutic Touch methods that can be used.
This therapy was developed in 1981.
The technique
was adopted by American Holistic Nurses Association in 1989. The Healing Touch
results relax patient and reduce pain.
Healing
Science has been around since 1978 the field is used for patients of all ages
for personal healing and growth.

Craniosacral Discussion
Kip Magee
Week 14 Craniosacral Discussion.
1.
What are the goals of craniosacral
manipulation/therapy?
The goal is to put pressure on that
craniosacral nerve that should be sending nerve messages to all different parts
of the body. By unraveling that phase of nerve.
2.
How does it work? What
techniques does Cheryl use?
10 step protocol; feeling the rhythm
around the feet. A light touch on the wrist inside the legs the thing with
craniorhythm like breathing and heartbeat you have a craniorhythm.. the object
is to get the rhythm right. Cheryl work on one are two areas of the body for
that day. Once she release the body and the respiratory and the thorax area
around the chest then she do the cranin, then she goes to the spine. She has
the fingers at the base of the cranin kind of rock the line of the spine and
release any restriction around the spine.
3.
What types of problems does
craniosacral manipulation seek to address?
Head trauma. Learning disabilities,
TMJ, tenacious, genital problems, menstrual, respiratory Ashima. Digestion,
Lung problems, thorax, speech problems swallowing. Memory loss, lower blood
pressure.
4.
What kind of training is required to
perform this therapy?
Taking Craniosacral classes for at
least 5 years. And massage therapy.
5.
what kinds of regulation does the
state of Nevada have for this therapy?
Yes, you must get a license in the
State of Nevada if you touch the body, massage, chiropractor, craniosacral.
6.
What is your reaction to this kind of
modality? Would it be something you would invest time or money in trying?
Yes, I would try craniology therapy,
as a fact I have done it before sometime ago. And the price then was right on
$50.00 for an hour plus we had a therapy session at the book store.

Week 13 DISCUSSION
Yoga.
What are your experiences with
yoga? Why do you think it's so popular? What is yoga? How
does it work? What do people get out of yoga that keeps them coming back?
My experience with yoga is that it’s
a culture that has physical and mental benefits in the therapy. I do stretches
but yoga is more of a tranquility of things. It opens a spiritual enlightenment
in the form of moves of stretching. It is so popular because the creator of
yoga is respected and is sincere about the century year old practices. Yoga is
a meditative, breathing, physical exercise to awaken the enter energy of the
chakra.
Yoga is
portraited as a ritual practice intend to lead beyond the dualities of the
outer, temporal world into a state of transcendent union with God (364).
In Hollywood, it was
embraced by many screen celebrities. One of the eight practices is jnana yoga
focus on a process of self-observation and meditation, seeking to detach
themselves from the actions and desires of the ego in order to uncover their
true spiritual nature.
What do
people get out of yoga, well they come to a practitioner and their treated to a
form of meditation to channel their enter mind, body a soul. Then based on what
ailment they are having. A form of deep stretching, breathing exercises is
done. I am excited about yoga practice.

Discussion
Wrap Up.
Here was our SCO for the
week: "Given a need to understand osteopathic medicine,
students will identify the various methods that osteopathic doctors use to
promote health, healing and prevention."
Do you feel you have met this objective? How
would you describe the methods that osteopathic doctors use to promote health,
healing and prevention? What about functional medicine doctors?
In this
chapter of understanding that Osteopathic medicine is healing of the
musculoskeletal circular systems of the nervous system. To treat the root
causes of a condition even if it’s mental, physical are spiritual.
And that in
functional medicine treatment can be used with osteopathic medicine. The
treatment of the root cause and diagnosis in the lab with blood work and if
patient needs medical life changes. An assessment of body function is made to
bring a change in system functions, to make a lifestyle change.
Reflexology Interview
Kip Magee
INT 349
REFLEXOLOGY INTERVIEW
1. What is reflexology and how
does it work? What reflexology is using Accuplacer point, on the bottom, top
and side of the feet. It is dealing with sending a message to the brain to work
that area of the body. Works all the system of that part of the body and press
in one session for an hour or so. What are 3 main goals of reflexology? The
limb system, nervous system all ends in your feet. You’re really looking for
the pressor point of the body. By creating pressor were stimulating that part. We’re
trying to detox and balance the body system.
2. What are some reasons people
seek help from a reflexologist? To get stimulation in the part of the body that
is in need. Lack of energy, fatigue, a lot of diabetics come get reflexology
because of the foot circulation. People who go thought cancer chemo and sinus
condition.
3. Why did Aleece pursue
reflexology? She got into massage
reflexology for her own personal needs. Constant pain in her legs made her look
in reflexology. What type of training is required? The education is about
2 years. You have to do a anatomy class. What type of licensing is required? 2
years for a foot zone certification. Potential work under the massage board.
Have to have cert amount of credit. And Business license, and insurance.
Because of sickness after a massage.
4. What is a typical charge for
a reflexology session? $50 an hour. Is this something you would be
interested in trying or recommending? Yes it’s something I would try. As a
matter of fact my first session is this Friday for a massage. My body was
feeling fatigue so I’m deciding to try it. Why/why not? I’ll try the deep
tissue massage to circulate my blood and connect my nervous point feelings.
E-Motion Discussion.

E-Motion
Discussion.
1.
What is a 'heart wall?' How did
it affect the people in the video?
A
heart wall is energy passing thought a person to another person. The affect is
if a person sends a signal that an emotion vibe sought of a butterfly leaving
your heart between two people. About the time that butterfly gets thought the
layer of your emotion damage. It’s a dragon fly perceiving your emotional
problems.
2.
What are the healing effects of
changing our subconscious programs? What's an example of a 'subconscious
program?'
The
body is beginning to unrealize old emotion and beginning to condition the body
to a new emotion the body began to get back on-line. And began to heal itself.
People with M.S., Lupous their body changes and condition in the body gets back
to normal. 5% of our mind is conscious and 95% is the subconscious mind.
3.
(Note: You don't have to post answers to these questions - you can just
answer them to yourself.) What is your 'starting point?' How might you look at
yourself in a new way? What do you want out of your life?
4.
The video discusses an 'intelligence' within us that keeps life going.
It also talks about how we are sacred, spiritual beings. How does
the video connect this to healing and health?
As
long as we think about the physic of nature and think about the joy of life, we
have better living. When we move thought the agenda of live thing we want comes
with no effort.
5.
What are the principles of health discussed in the video? What is the
time you should hold hurt in your life. If you are like a little child, you
should hold it. Emotion is the energy that moves you, that energy is the subtle
life force that’s the begin how you are. Once you get rid of stress your life
force will be happier.
6.
What does the quote, "Science has become the contemporary language
of mysticism mean?" What do you think the author of Tao, Linda
Kohanov, would think of this quote?
That
people secretly believes in their greatness. They believe that they can do
better in life. And the new sciences
give people the permission to create the life they want. Sciences is the
language that has become the new contemporary Mysticism. Tao, Linda Kohanow
would think of this quote a life begins with you being acceptable to yourself.
7.
The same quote that opened the video, also closes the video: "Each
morning, the moment you take your head off the pillow, you have all you
need." How has your perspective of this quote changed since the beginning
of the class? What does this quote mean to you now?
This quote to me means that everything you need is what you wake up with in your being. Make it what you will.
8.
Final thoughts, feelings, reactions to the video? Has it changed
your perspective on yourself? Your health? Your life?
Yes, it has given me an insight to living a positive life… The thought of being a positive force in my own life. Not just the luxury things but the force of spiritual perspective in me and family.

Introduction
into Orthomolecular Practices
Orthomolecular psychiatry is called
by Nobel laureate Linus Pauling, Ph.D. The study was instituted for treatment
of many forms of mental illness, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, and
depression, just a few to theorize the disorders. To summarize the nature of
Orthomolecular medicine, its natural food substance of the molecules in
minerals that the amount of proper nutritional dosage each person needs in
recommend daily allowance to satisfy the body health needs.
What it includes is that “the
preservation of good health and the preservation and treatment of disease by
varying the concentrations in the human body of the molecules of substances
that are normally present, many of them required for life such as vitamins, essential
amino acids, essential fats, and minerals.” (Larry Trivieri Jr. pg. 48).
Orthomolecular medicine is used in
psychiatric treatment. It takes the Recommend Daily Amount of nutrients and
provides this source to add the proper enzymes to supplement the bodies amino
acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Orthomolecular physician Richard Kunin, M.D. says that when nutrition is
achieved in a nutrient-related disorder it can medically be easier to treat the
ailment and balance is done.
What is Orthomolecular used for?
Well, vitamins and nutrients are used to increase the body deficiency loss in
patient with psychiatric condition to bring around a whole balance molecule of
nutritional balance by practitioners of Orthomolecular medicine. This is done
to add proper recommended nutrients in a deficiency patient. The best treatment
is the long-term care of a patient with a healthy diet for well-ness.
What
are the current practices associated with psychiatric medicine.
Some form of therapy used on
psychiatric patients with positive results is Light Therapy, that helps with
depression form long winters. Exercise motivates the body to get physical fit.
Yoga, used on patients with mental challenge patients to relieve stress. Meditation
is another modality that helps with breathing and channeling the mind and body
off negative ideals. Acupuncture, releases chemicals endorphins. Music Therapy,
that helps with social environment. Art
Therapy, that has a person express what their feeling at the time. Herbs and
supplements involve taking a plant or vitamins.
What is required for Orthomolecular
education? There is a diploma available in one year in Orthomolecular Medicine.
“The program in the first-year state-of-the art, the student will get the
knowledge and healing option in progressive form of natural medicine. (Linda
Henderson).”
Orthomolecular
Medicine is less regulated than pharmaceutical medicine. Most of the
alternative medicine in its practices is based on elements the body is lacking,
and the minerals that already would have been in the body, it’s not regulated.
What is the general cost of a
session? The average cost is $500.00/hr. billing at 15-minute increments. With
the culture of Orthomolecular practices is the mainstream alternative clients.
Most of the thousands of tests done on patients were treatment on trial bases
to get nutrients value in psychiatric patient diagnosed with results. And it
was reported that 60% of patients treated with Schizophrenia was normalized or
balanced to be treated.
How
does Orthomolecular Works.
The principle of Orthomolecular Psychiatric
is to educate practitioner and to medical advance the practice in the knowledge
of the patient’s condition. To perform a history plan to balance the patient
body nutrient count. With the blood test
the practitioner may find what mineral is missing out of the culture of
molecular.
“A better approach that leads to
health and wellness is to focus on optimizing the biological functioning in our
bodies core biochemical/physiological systems. Its approach is called
Orthomolecular Medicine (OM). Utilizes
nutrition and supplementation as important corrective metabolic tools, tools
that are effective and inexpensive.” (JOM Vol 28, No 1)
How does Orthomolecular affect the
body-mind and Spirit? Rene Descartes (1596- 1650). Believe the mind and body
are separated. He taught that the mind is spiritual, and the body is material.
But we learned that the body-mind-and spirit work as a unit one helping and
assisting the other. Though inter-wellness and tranquility the mind is the
gravitational pull that keeps the body and spirit thriving.
What are the tools or technology
that are used in Orthomolecular practices? Like any institutional care there is
observation and time involve. But when we are deal with 90 years of research
the practices change over the years. It has faster diagnosis in identifying an
ailment. But in true fashion diseases do change to new causes. With vitamins
supplements that can be purchase over the counter; Vitamin B-3, and Vitamin A,
or some of the nutrient factor present in protein and grains. “It appeared as if vitamins had finally taken hold between
1935 and 1945 after several Nobel prizes had been given to the pioneers in the
discovery of the vitamins. But the War, the subsequent discovery of the
antibiotics and a little later the "wonder" drugs, the steroids,
effectively quenched any interest in vitamins as part of the medical
armamentarium.” (JOM Vol 28, No. 1, 2013).
Are there
sub-therapies or modalities, or different styles or types? And yes, there are
other research being used that the deficiency in the nutrients of the body of
Cancer patients. The study has brought patients who have tried chemotherapy to
research alternative measure and used TCM. “After much searching Gearin-Tosh
found the Gerson Therapy, A holistic nutritionally based treatment regimen
developed by Dr. Max Gerson (1881-1959). He used Vitamin C, B12 and D, with
acupuncture TCM.” (Howard D Straus).
Scientific Evidence and Documentation of
Orthomolecular Psychiatric
The first case of the law of vitamins
was recorded to show prof that deficiency in the body will cause illness was
the disease Scurvy in Sailors. “Sir James Lind that oranges and lemons would
cure Scurvy and distribution of limes to English sailors. During this interval 100,000
seamen died from scurvy; there are many similar examples.” (A. Hoffer, M.D.)
Orthomolecular which means
“pertaining to the right molecule” was coined by Pauling, Ph.D.. In the
mainstream documentation it stated that vitamins like any other substances can
work for the good health of a person when done correctly and manageable in
proper dosage.
In
the report issue of a 1955 documentation Orthomolecular Medicine Advances
into the Mainstream studies that vitamins in large dose can combat
deficiency that are not related to nutrient loss. “Dr. Humphry Osmond and I had
been using large doses of Vitamin B-3 and Vitamin C since 1952 for treating
schizophrenics and a few other psychiatric diseases. Humphry was interested in
the side effects and possible toxicity of these vitamins since maintaining
patients on these doses for many years.” (Hoffer.M.D. et al.). This showed promising changes in the
Orthomolecular psychiatry. Vitamins was making revolutionary marks in this
modality field. More patients were showing improvement than in conventional
practices.
Unscientific
Orthomolecular Documentation
In the report of Journal of
Orthomolecular Medicine. Vol. 18, Nos. 3 & 4, 2003. It disputed that
the claim that vitamins is the best product in small amount to cure deficiency.
The report of “Thiamine prevents Beri Beri, vitamin C prevents Scurvy, Vitamin
D prevent rickets, and vitamin B-3 prevent pellagra. The journal goes on to say
then they are not fit to practice medicine. Because of give large doses giving
Vitamin C to a person who is not nutrient deficiency is not good practice.”
(Hoffer. M.D.)
The article is to show light of
other physicians in the field that have progress in the study. It wants us to
examine the other success that some of the vitamins researchers have made and
haven’t been disclose are made note of. Example is Dr. Evan Shute who found
that vitamin E was useful in treating heart disease. The article express how
they were overlooked by the medical field.
And we should subscribe to the JOM and buy the article. Its information
can be misleading because the research hasn’t been posted as current Journal’s and
nothing in my research has made note of Dr. Evan Shute and Vitamin E patient
studies are proof of there success.
How
can it be damaging to the public or person seeking healing and health
information? For the modality to have change in such a short span of American
history Orthomolecular is needed today to heal the sick and the needy. With
that said this article bring a lot of regrets to why someone who research
wasn’t made public and indorsed by the medical field. When daily people are
blogging of cancer treatment and how a good diet is making changes in
chemotherapy treatment. This article doesn’t do justice to the science who
struggle to make changes with test and trials. They journey wasn’t easy to
achieve the accumulate they received.
Orthomolecular
Medical Analysis
Based on what I’ve read and
researched about this modality; Orthomolecular psychiatric study and what is
learned in class. I believe this is another step to the future of medical practices.
It might not be widely promoted in the healthcare field by when I noticed this modality,
I took to it. The study hasn’t been introduced to patients and explain why this
practice can help to heal the mind. It wasn’t seen as alternative medicine vs
conventional pharmaceutical practices. What I’ve experience in this research
that practitioner request interview to document the structure plan of
treatment. In my history of healthcare, I haven’t experienced this medical
practice before, so I can’t say I’ve did any treatment. I have only been
introduced to conventional medical treatment.
Would
I recommend it too other? Yes, just for the fact that the research and the
qualified records are out there. The history of Orthomolecular is the most
sensitive because in this modality it deals with the realty people perceive
about life. All the modality we study the mind-body, and spirit. The deficiency
of nutrient value is the biggest prospective in the health field, if it’s not
promoted. Vitamins, mineral and good health is suggested for quality of life.
When the rubric’s asked about the cultural value of Orthomolecular treatment. I
didn’t find much but only my personal experience in the healthcare field. This
subject should be introduced to the students to let them have a better
understanding on mental health experience and what changes can be add to there
life.
With
the increase into alternative medicine there can be a surge in the practice.
Because more of the younger generation is turning to natural things. This
modality would just do wonder in the field of Orthomolecular practices. I’ve
learned that in this study the mind is assisted by the food and the nutrients
we consume. If the nutrients don’t have enough mineral in its substance, we
must prescribe vitamins. And all vitamins doesn’t affect each person the same
way. The environment plays and part in how mineral and substance effect the
person.
What
is the most important point to remember about this modality? Is that most of
the condition are strictly observation first before the medication is
prescribed. The vitamins are ideally required when the knowledge of what’s
missing in the nutrients first. And other supplement may be required with the
vitamins. Like any modality we must know when we our healed. To what point is
the body ready to accept recovery and well-ness.
