Religious Discrimination and Racial Harassment

Abstract

In my argument I will take a stands on the inequality that Maalick has been going through and how the systemic discrimination in the employment was the negligence of the management team. I will analyze present pattern of discrimination at the work place Treton Corporation were employee MarShawn DeMur, a.k.a Maalick, experience cruel treatment by co-workers. In my examples I question was the procedural duties of Human Resource Department to late in the harassment case that MarShawn DeMur experienced, (1) because the discrimination treatment was brought up to the attention of management. Under the Equal Employment Opportunity, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act it is classified as a violation of Maalick’s rights. The case examine “(1) fail or refuse to hire or discharge any individual, or otherwise discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex or national origin.” (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, Wright). I analyze Maalick accommodation of his religious status because of back lash of management own religious belief. Maalick’s status is morally right and should have the benefit of prosperity in the workplace.  Maalick has been socially outcast in the environment of Treton Corporation and has been over look for new position where we can acclaim because of his new religious status.

Religious Discrimination and Racial Harassment

In analyzing Maalick’s story of religious discrimination and racial harassment claims, he has been through a lot and endure torment at Treton Corporation. With the subject of management ‘Jenkins’s’ being non-affective in helping Maalick during his time of need. It was Jenkins that recruit MarShawn a.k.a Maalick who is a native of Africa and promises to mentor. Understanding that Maalick has found a new religion Jenkins was uneasy with this decision. Jenkins words about MarShawn new religion was “You know I am a religious person, but what you describe sounds quite strange, I need some information on this so-called religion before I can make a decision to give you a week off. We are quite busy, you know.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs). All religion group is made up of diversity and should be respected in my opinion under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, religion is one of the requirement that should be observed and somedays representation of holly-days. Maalick request for one week off to be confirmation at the Church of International Spirituality is to be a intensive spiritual preparation. His immediate management team reluctantly gave DeMur MarShawn the days off. “His fellow employee taunt his character saying that his new religion was voodoo and [he’s] partake in witchcraft and sorcery.”(Gwendolyn M. Combs).

DeMur accepted the remarks and counter with more information to his employer about the international religious group. Which they practice “strict diet, keep appearance, method of worship and other conducts.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs).. Upon DeMur MarShawn’s return he has announced that he accepted a new name ‘Maalick’ replacing his old Sir name. Maalick request of Human Resource Department ‘Marta Ford’ submitted his paper work for name change and address that he shouldn’t have any problems for HR and his employees. Jenkin’s didn’t take to well of Maalick’s new transition, and became very condensate of his employee. Point of reference in business case “‘Accommodating Religion, Belief and Spirituality in the Workplace,’ Religion has become a significant workplace issue as the United States has become more diverse. Some employees may need ongoing accommodations to practice daily religious activities in their workplace, whereas other employees may require occasional modifications.”(SHRM). In the case of Maalick return his co-worker just barely acknowledge his greeting and laughed behind his back. Upon entering into his office “Maalick, found it decorated with dolls with pins sticking out of various body parts, with hats and containers of incense.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs).

Surely this is an attack on his new found religion, but his action was to notify his manager Jenkins. Jenkins blew it off and laughed saying, “I must say you have some admirers. As an American with African roots, you should have expected some lighthearted ribbing about your conversion to that strange religion of yours.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs). This is a biases act upon the management team and should be noted as such because his action did not go any farther than that.  Maalick response to these action is that he did not expect this type of treatment. The social harassment didn’t stop here, there was letter referring to, “black magic, black cat, and palm reading, and notices of the disappearance of MarShawn DeMur.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs).

“In the industrialized world, workplace discrimination against Muslims worsened after 11 September 2001. Situations range from harassment of offensive comments concerning religious beliefs or practices to the refusal by employers to accommodate the needs of a person arising from his or her religion that may conflict with a requirement, qualification or practice.”

(P. Sappal).

The management must remember that Treton Communication is an Equal Employment Opportunity company and that discrimination is more damaging to the company, because Maalick is protected under the law of EEOC. “Treton policies of the company prohibit discrimination against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, sex / gender (including pregnancy), National origin, age, disability, marital status or veteran status. The company will conform to the spirit as well as the letter of all applicable laws and regulation.” (Gwendolyn M, Combs).

The action that left Maalick disturbed was again take up with HR Department and Mrs. Ford. She quickly called a meeting of management team and the board to address the issue. For Maalick it was some assurance that action was being taken. Some months went by and a position open up that Maalick felt he qualified for. Maalick had follow up with Ford office and all was well in the company. Two new system manager position open and Maalick enquired about them HR Department Ford who encouraged him to apply. Maalick even brought it up with Jenkins about the job qualification and duties. “Jenkins said only one position is open and the second position will be fill in six months.” (Gwendolyn M. Combs). Maalick interviewed with Jenkins and the position was given to an associate of Jenkins, a Charles Bartlett. Maalick discover that Barlett was a member of Jenkins church. He recalled at the holiday social event that Jenkins joked about Maalick’s religion. Maalick filed formal complaint with Ford, alleging religious discrimination and racial harassment. I feel that Clive Jenkin’s action was unprofessional which cause his biases action and behavior. He held a personal vicious act toward Maalick and he would have not given him the systems management promotion at all. Marta Ford did right by calling Equal Employment Opportunity Commission which prescribed Judith Dixon who can make restitution of the situation at Treton Communication. Treton will uphold the law of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Judith Dixon can perceive judgement against the act taken in the declining behave of Maalick. And reward him the Prima facie case were “Individual is member of a protected group, was qualified for the job, and was turned down for the job, and the job remained open.” (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, Wright). In this case Jenkins hired his congregation member. The “discrimination based on social origin arises when an individual is denied a job or certain economic activities or only assigned particular jobs because of the class or socio-occupational category or caste to which she or he belongs.” (121 Equality at work: Tackling the Challenges). Maalick harassment will be brought in front of Judith Dixon and I’m pretty sure under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1991 that Jenkins led Maalick without any guidance and discriminate about his religion and played the racial harassment action.

Kavalier and Clay Amazing Story.

I like to think of Kavalier and Clay as the pioneer of the Gold age of comics. They have learn to challenge the struggles before them. Are they making a change in the social aspect of the comic universe?  Kavalier and Clay went head first into the world of comic books. Clay had the dream to make the visions of his world to be heard and transform into character that he felt will make a differences. Both artist having a strong imagination in order to create characters that have incredible power and ability. Kavalier did his study at the Art Institutes, but both of them were young Jewish men. Kavalier fled a hostile environment of occupy Prague to the city dwellings of New York.  Kavalier live with the fantasy of magic and the thought of being a great entertainer. He incorporated his skills and have transpired to save a Religious artifact that he helped smuggled out of Prague; passed the Nazis. “As soon as the German army occupied Prague, talk began, in certain quarters, of sending the city’s Golem, Rabbi Loew’s miraculous automaton, into the safety of exile.”(Michael Chabon).

 His family was a well off middle class Jewish family but even the tuff times caused a hefty price in order for Kavalier to make it to America. The question is did Kavalier a Clay make a differences in the social change of comics? Kavalier poured out his true feeling about the struggle his family was going through with his art. The future in the field of comic books would not be the same because comic magazine gain a true story teller. Sam Clay with his contact at the Kramler Building made extra efforts to get them audition with Sheldon Anapol magazine company. Sam took a chance with them making an issue of their own to produce the next Superman. You have to understand that comics in this time was just imaginative thoughts. People had not conceive the ideal of running stories of fighting Nazis, changeling Communism and being vigilantes because it just did not exists.

Reflective problems and anxieties in our cultures

I have read stories of fear and people wishing they were something they are not Captain Marvel #1. In the culture of comics books it was made to shape the imagination of the kids. Congress wanted and needed a standard of ethic for the comic book world. In 1954 Comic Codes was developed, and this placed morals values in the issues. Over the years there have been some amazing stories. The development of Wonder Women spark the women’s movement and Superman in the far reach of space. The issues were meant to give hope and take strength with the combination of unity. The future of comics became the past of the Golden Age period. Artist in the 1960 developed more of movements towards fear of communism. This was bring story of racy proportion issues against America’s enemy?  Darwyn Cooke “New Frontier, [portrayed] ‘Superman’,” Challenging the superheroes to except individuals for what they can do to help Earth. Because we are different in appearance and we should accept what is different about a person. I rather like Darwyn ideal example “that because we are different and have special ability we all fight for the same purpose and that is prosperity and freedom.” (Cooke).  

Time period changes and culture different.

The Silver Age of comics made way of feminist and introducing character of African-America status. Even though Wonder Women still hold rank in the comic book world other characters change the rules in the Seventy’s. People look at the art work of artist image of women as less of a being. The ladies heroes wasn’t holding strength in the story lines. Stories like Batgirl the “Killing Joke,” was a show of victimize of females. Even though women are taking on the criminal world figure they have fan characters that speak their mind. The art work by Rafael Albuquerque in Batgirl’s comic change the way artist view their work. The separation from the Comic Code was showing and what can happen when you lose ethics. Moral values is the reason for the strong history of good heroes. To live in justices and the pursuit of happiness is a law model for young enthusiast value.

In closing I think that Joseph Kavalier and Sammy Clay have shape the way of comic’s development and have brought stories to creation that is amazing. The strength of the two together help make the Golden Age of comic book issues. The foundation of their original Story lines shape the movie industry and created a following in the Comic Con World. The diversity in the industry have reached in Marvel and D.C. comics. The Comic Code Standard of 1954 may have shaped the Golden Age but the new animatronic world is making new head waves. We still have feminist in the costume character and critics still call for the metaphor of the Golden Age but time has changed. We can only watch and be amazed at the future of movie illustration and thank the creation of Kavalier and Clay pioneer.

• Discussion: Dr. Webster, in the passage of Kavalier & Clay, what Deasey was doing is victimizing the ideal of the two artist denying them a future in the business of productions of comic books. When I looked at the article on page (286). I first through that Deasey was giving them advice of experience of the art world. From what he said “This kind of work is a graveyard of every kind of ambition, Kavalier.” Analyzing “Whatever you may hope to accomplish, whether form the standpoint of art or out of… other considerations, you will fail.”(286).I got that all determination and struggles is what this job does is to make money want make money. People does not look at this profession as a real market in art. But, now Deasey is acting arrogant a being vlogger insisting that Kavalier a Clay didn’t have what it takes to make it in the art world. Deasey said, “I have very little faith in the power of art, but I remember the flavor of the faith, if you will, from when I was your age; the taste of it on the back of my tongue.”(286). Kavalier was waiting his whole life for a chance at expressing his feeling about the Nazis and the escaping of the cultural artifacts from Prague, he is not about to listen to the disappointments of Deasey. I feel the great struggles of being a artist on your own with this production but Kavalier can’t stop the progression of expressing of the events in Prague from Germany letting the world know what faith he has with freedom. “Out of respect for you and the graceful idiot I once was, I concede the point, but this…Powerless… Useless.”(286). It seems that Deasey have tried to express what transpired in history like what Kavalier is doing now. Changing the belief of the hopeless minded people, letting adults and youths dare to imagine what dreams are like. Fighting with paint and drawing with words of courage.  Speaking with the voice of the new age. I like the challenge and glad that Kavalier fills he need to take his art to the next level. These are his journal in the works of his art and to stop then he will not follow the dreams he have made.

• For this discussion presentation X2 X-MEN UNITED, the story begins with the mutant Kirk a.k.a the Knight Crawler under the chemical spell to kill the president of The United States. The twist of the matter is that mutant’s want their freedom from the Registration Act. But the Agents of Secret Service with guns blazing fin off the assault by the teleporting ability mutant. The characters of the X-Men lead by Charles Xavier a school of gifted mutants who are outcast of society. With the government taking strong efforts to bring the indifference beings under the thumb of William Striker generalship. Take on the cruel and torch us method at any means to learn the secrets of the mind control machine Cerebral. Located in a high power prison Eric a.k.a Magneto is being chemical medicated and beaten for the information about the history of the X-Men. Striker with enough information arrange through the White House and attack capture every mutants of the X-MENS. This leads to violent military assault on the mansion home of the superheroes. William Striker creates a double machinery of Cerebral to create Charles Xavier to mind alter and find kill every mutant. With fearful fighting and great effort of the X-MEN battling the soldiers of the government destroy the Cerebral Machine. But during the engagement Magneto change the double cerebral machine to kill every human. This brought devise between the unities of the X-MEN. With the group training they recover and safe Professor Charles Xavier at the helm of Cerebral mind machine. With all the capture of the X-Men escaping to the freedom of the Aqua Jet, Jenn uses her tele palate ability to save the day.

•  Compare to the guide lines of the Comics Code would have noticed that some pictorial dealt with some rating violation. In General Standard Part A were it states, “Policemen, judges, Government officials and respected institutions shall never be presented in such a way as to create disrespect for established authority (3).” General Striker was a government military personal and this Marvel Movie would have violated the Comics Code. The action he had taken was violent.  The Torture of Magneto in the Alkin institution would count for kidnaping and criminal act against a person. Like the General Standard Act A number 10, “The crime of kidnapping shall never be portrayed in any detail nor shall profit accrue to the abductor or kidnaper. The criminal or the kidnaper must be punished in every case.” I would say this is a close pictorial to this issue. This movie has a lot of gun play and knife stabbing so pretty much rated R movie. But the movie was design for the adult fantasy person. It would be suggested to strong adult graphics marvel comic readers.
• What if ‘Striker’ had succeed in saving all the mutants and even his only child in the movie X2 changing their abilities to normal human beings. Because most mutant wanted to be only nornmal and have a chance at a decent life. With this Charles Xavier and William Striker with the government could work together to fix all the mutants. Then the Cerebral mind controling  machine to find mutants would have been affective. General Striker would have become a aid to society leading justice and medical merical. The President orders would have been a humantiary one. Then this film would have been watched by a younger generation and become a family movie were the government safe the day.  Thank you.  Home Depot’s Bumpy Road to Equality

In the Chapter Case is Home Depot morally wrong in its ethical approach of hiring employee’s practices. We read that Home Depot treated applicants differently bases on race and sex in hiring for position available at this company. Home Depot’s has developed a worldwide builder emporium with the goals of having a store in every local community. Bob Nardelli Corporation has pledge to have a “store within 30 minutes of every customer in the United States.” (Text139). Leaving open the door of more than 50,000 employees. This has legalities that women and minority in the labor force be able to be hired in position of equal workforce utilizing its employees. Which brings the question to what type of discrimination did we have in the case of Home Depot lawsuit. The Discrimination states that while applicable some minorities in the position of hiring was not hire and the position was left open and people with equal qualifying was hired. Under Disparate Treatment “Whenever an individual is treated differently based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin, age, and disability status.”(Text 114). The plaintiff’s burden proved and met the plaintiff’s protection group and applied for and qualified for the job. Despite possessing the qualification the plaintiff was rejected. After rejection the position stayed open and the position was either filled by a man or equal qualifying applicant. Bob Nardelli Home Depot states “disparity by noting that most female job applicants have experience as cashiers, they are placed in cashier positions; most male applicants express an interest in or aptitude for home repair work such as carpentry or pluming.” (Text 139).The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission could prove that a majority of women was by passed for the positon in the lumber floor and hardware because of the fact that they are women and better at cashiers, the lumber, electrical and hardware was filled with 70% male, and the front office was filled with 70% women. If this is the discrimination that is being lead at the front office then maybe minority applicants were not getting a fair attempt at employment.  

Looking at R.L Craig “Systemic discrimination in employment and promotion of ethnic equality.” “A number of countries has used a paired-testing or situational testing.” People in regard of sex, race or religion in this case study we observe the applicant that indicating the ethnic discrimination of the unequal treatment of qualifying people.  “The testing methodology and results are easily understood by policymakers.”(Craig). Results show that when mostly interaction with customers there are discrimination in the hiring. “Steering people to less desirable alternatives.” (Craig). The Gender and Management by Dr. Fielden, The Equal Employment Opportunity in Australia compare to the United States have led from the 1960s to change for an equal pay wage, then in 1975, and Anti-discrimination legislation at a federal level. The EEO introduced “affirmative action,” (AA). In research the Australia has study Equal Opportunity for Women Act of 1986.

The major legislation regulating equal employment opportunity of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Age Discrimination Employment Act passed in 1967, and amended in 1986. The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 enforced affirmative action. Women Pregnancy Discrimination Act was able to reach accommodation in the work force with EEOC. Passed laws of Executive order 11246 that created the Affirmative Action in hiring minorities’ women, a fair workforce effort in this country. The Civil Rights Act of 1991; prohibits discrimination just like Title VII law. Home Depot lawsuit came with the cost to improve its company with automotive hiring. This electronic screening of applicant eliminated good chances of discrimination and the favoritism in hiring people. Bob Nardelli spent 10 Million dollars on this machine that will prevent 900 store for discriminating against hirers. The level of minority has increase in the management department by 28%, and women management has increase by 30% in the workforce.  Home Depot made extra effort to repair their damage reputation. They paid an agreed settlement of 65 million dollars to the women and promise to better their hiring practices.  Bob Nardelli worked on recruitment by keeping any active military duty personal on staff by having and “orange apron,” when they return home. Patriotic jester by Home Depot may have save many of server personal job by having a position waiting when they return State- side. Home Depot did much to help their image and may have grown to fast in staff. This foresight may have wow the share-holders but the community identified that unfair treatment was practices.

Cut to the Segment of Superman in the film of the "New Frontier," by Dawryn Cooke, he address the call for togetherness towards a group of security protectors. The Military standing ready to shoot the mask hooded superheroes and the superheroes ready to react and fight. Comparing in Kennedy’s speech at the democratic convention of the "New Frontier," he also means to deliver a call for unity. Kennedy said that the new era is here (50’s and 60’s), for the changing, by creating a desire for peace for us to survive in. Cooke’s New Frontier address what Superman said “that because we are different and have special ability we all fight for the same purpose and that is prosperity and freedom.”(Cooke). But in the movie they had to come together and defeat the “Center,” a cult foreseen entity that want’s to destroy the future of all the human race. So what Superman speech did was unified these forces to take on the powers of that foe a floating dinosaur island.

It will take everyone together to change the enter thoughts of bigotry and ignorance in Kennedy address mentioning to be a pioneer of the new time, and era is a challenge for yourselves and it will take all of use as a unity to do it. He mention that to do this it will not be just about “Democrats or Republicans but American people together. For the ‘new world to be Strong and Free,’” (Kennedy).we have to leave behind the Nuclear Bombs and the war that separate are Countries. Kennedy says lead and do it vigorously “Uncharted area of science and space undiscouraged area of peace and more of ignorance and prejudices unanswered question of poverty.”(Kennedy) Gives fear to people who are scare of changes. To come out of the box like the Alien helping the American Scientist it take two to have the will for changes and the heart to make changes. Superman said it best “I’m and alien and I can get out of that box what make you think that he can’t, he’s and alien just like me.” (Cooke). “All battles are not won and all battles not all are set free.” (Kennedy). So make the best effort to be humane and look of answer to solve questions. Working together the Center is defeated and the JLA is created.

Is Whistle Blower Ethical and Desire Saving.  

I know whistle blowers endanger this country and I feel it's a plot to over though our technology. Over the years we have as Americans enjoyed the safeness of privacy. Well if you feel it has been compromised then your are part of a few Americans. Information is gather and obtain in the name of security of this country. But some has taken upon themselves to change the way we gather information. In reason articles I have suggest that people with disgruntle feeling make their pay back on society. Well we look  at what does it take to truly accept a whistle blower. I am in the field of Chelsea Mandy and Eric Snow den. While working for this government they made a stands on emotional feelings that made them turn over secrets to expose what they do. What's my feeling on this subject about States information being handed to Wiki-leak? I'm not happy because if you ever served in the military, yes! they do things in the line of duty to protect this country.  The same County that surveillance as are police. Since the design of Home Land Security we have been under constant active surveillance to prevent terrorism. I am safe under the Patriot Act.an if these secrets are being given out what's to stop terrorism. 

What is a Whistle Blower?

I consider whistle blower like the Mayor of Michigan who told the people that the water is cover in lead and it's not drinkable. The EPA knew it and brought bottle water for themselves and didn't tell the people. Job's are on the line but the people can make their decision to stay and make a political   effort to correct the bad management in the community. Safety in numbers I say, I can never take sides against my Country endangering people of their military duty. Telling the NSA secrets to surveillance in the U.S is concerning and it's a fact. So should Snowden be charge with treason? My concerns is if you did the case why not stand to that fact? One should not have travel to Russia to evade capture for the government that one just gave all the records and information to  an foreign paper. That's my argument to whistle blowing stand your grounds and if it holds people are behind you. This information subject our Country to be compromised to Botnet methods in my feelings. 

What is the back lash of these Whistle blowing?

These action was a result in a media fringe the government have to redevelop their big brother surveillance system. The NSA have to be restructure in order to compete in the technology world. It is a matter of reading the Wiki leak article to gather the information designing our infrastructure system. Technology does have a roof, it is only so far you can push technology before it is repetitive. With this information soundly turn over I would say our system is compromised. Our international prisons took a big hit by international polices. It revealed soldiers that can be in harms way. So a few years is punishable to Mandy. I applaud Karen Weaver the Mayor, of Flint and she should be supported. Whistle blower is a action taken by a person with aggression and should be subject in a court for review because of Snowden our NSA was revamped and things were changed. But for how long that's should be a stands that Snowden so he should  have stood for and not left the Country.

Ransom Virus Strikes Four Continents 

Ransoms virus strikes Russia, Europe, China, India and each ransom is asking for $20,000 are lose your data. This is the market of cyber crime that is being carry out today. Ransoming one computer, locking you out of one's computer for personal gain. This is affecting are market and is changing the safety of our technology. A hero saved the day and found how to break the locked computers and free them up. This is technology and that is what it is about. Using the net to help each other with finding the name of the virus it can be added to the ant-virus program and stopped. Software at your serves. This is happening often then the publics is being let on to. A hospital in Wilshire  Blvd California was virus attacked and ransom $600.00 to free up their computers. The hospital was shut down for 4 hours until their re-boot technique could re-engage. All systems data was lost from the server and record un-replaceable. This virus today didn't only attacked industries and personal computers. They asked for more money being aggressive. 

How does this happen?

So victims shouldn't fill bad because they got hack. It's not their era most of the time. I learning the computer arts, we have the theory of learning the  proper technique in computer technology. The market for security analysis is great and abundant. The technology for network safety is greater than ever right now. Like I mention earlier people are looking for a pay back, they used what is being taught and go corrupt. Network systems are design to have information travel through a stream of binary code. This is received in a port that take the information and reproduce it on your computer. This is networking but to take control and lock you computer is adding their virus to lock you out. Some person and his security team found the key element in this theory and help a lot of people. His technique wasn't sold he just help the people in trouble with this ransom ware. But I do see a trend on the market with this ransom ware piracy.  Until we hold these type of crimes punishable their is not going to be many stops. The justice department is going to have to make available serves to protect individual people as well as corporations. 

Compare to the Trojan horse virus this virus is more deadly. The greed of extortion money out of people is criminal and is punishable.  It takes control of servers and locks them making the demand for money to free up your system. Crimes like this is coming more and more ran pit around the globe and I fill it can drive up the international market economy.  We should protect are rights by creating standards the protect are computer networks from pirates and safe keep personal information. And punish the people who create and use this method of crime.

I would say so, because copycat can reproduce this Technic and alter election or events.  I can say no one was hurt physically but the information is damaging and false. This type of cyber war is less expensive then guns and bombs and a lot more diabolical. With other virus out there is this something that can be prevented? Wow? I really can't say, we look at news to be trusty and persist. So for now look for more way's to gather your news. Check more sources for information. The main way of prevention is the sources. I happen to pick up a flier on what a corporation was looking for in an employee. The corporation thought that people with gaming skills would be a good fit into the world of computer forensic. When I started in computers I thought learning in college would help my understanding. I've learned from family who have been in the field for years is that learning and reading outside of college is were you are being taught. Not to take away from college but use college as a tool of basic learning. Expanding the learning is what the member of my family meant. I am presently studying for my licensing, reading A+  to take my Comp-TIA exams. What I have spent time realizing is Computer Security is the most important thing that you can do because of all the hacker security in IT is the most important.

Working with technology is with hardware, software and application. So I have this issue were I can assist with someone printer. It's still under warranty and this individual just brought three packs of toner and it's not compatible with his printer. So with experience is always check your part no# before you purchase the part. If it doesn't work then because it's not compatible then do not force it to work. That's the reason for STANDARDS on parts made by IEEE.  Going and telling me its the circuity connection is not the reason! This is were I stand on the issue and which brings me to the morals truth, when ordering the part double check the shipper product just because it say's HP it might not work. Like in this cast. 

Great Basin College is were I study and also work. My duties consist of being a leader with the facilitators, and Lab Aid which the duties are to help in technical issues were I can. I can help with Microsoft's programs if the students have problems. Most of the duties deal  with trouble shooting minor issues. I like to use my computer talents but its a limit to what I do.
