Computer Theory
When I started in computers I thought learning in college would help my understanding. I've learned from family who have been in the field for years is that learning and reading outside of college is were you are being taught. Not to take away from college but use college as a tool of basic learning. Expanding the learning is what the member of my family meant. I am presently studying for my licensing, reading A+ to take my Comp-TIA exams. What I have spent time realizing is Computer Security is the most important thing that you can do because of all the hacker security in IT is the most important.
I completely agree with you that computer security is the most important thing. Working at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) they take computer security seriously. I never thought that visiting certain sites that I have been to multiple times can harm my computer. Those sites can be harmless when using my PC but are harmful when the computers are connected to one network. I have to memorize a pin number and use a set of numbers that changes every 60 seconds as my passcode, then I have to put in my password to login. Cyber security out there takes everything seriously because of national security.
ReplyDeleteAuthentications is the process of login on to the computer now. This process is acquiring multiple Identification to grant access to word process, the computer network. It can be a frustrating when crunch for time. It's not a security pass protection, it's a access granted system.
DeleteI believe that any career associated with computers has become too competitive. I myself do not plan on entering the career field, but at one time I wanted to be a systems engineer for Northrup Grumman. I believe that Northup Grumman is one of the best computers to work for, because of the opportunity that they make available to their workers and the more than fair wages that they offer, even their entry level employees. Unlike most companies, North Grumman offers an apprenticeships program aimed at the betterment of any employee who wants to take classes and even become certified. This leads to management opportunities’ that many other corporations don’t offer their workers. I decided after researching the requirements and salary for the average person hired as a systems engineer, that it was not worth the effort for the eventual reward.
